ABOUT

We’re passionate about dirt, plants, and the magic they create together. Here, nestled in the rugged and beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan, we cherish every story our gardens tell. We practice organic principles and focus on native plantings and edible landscapes. We strive to build lasting relationships with the landscapes we tend, as well as the people and animals that reside within them.

My name is Meghan, i’m the owner- operator- and operations manager for Wildwood. My background is in private estate gardening in the Minneapolis area. I moved to the upper peninsula from the Minneapolis area to start a market farm. I have been digging in dirt my whole life.

I have a professional horticulture certificate from the university of Minnesota and the Minnesota landscape arboretum.

I am a licensed pesticide applicator. Organic principles are only as helpful as your understanding of the chemicals and the “pests” themselves. There can be real damage done to pollinators as well as beneficial insects without a real understanding of integrated pest management.

I’ve raised heritage poultry and been an avid homesteader for 15ish years.
